Piccola’s Sportsmen’s Advisory Committee Meeting to Feature Presentation by Fish & Boat Commission

HARRISBURG – State Senator Jeffrey E. Piccola (R-15) will host his Spring 2007 Sportsmen’s Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday, March 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s (PFBC) headquarters located at 1601 Elmerton Avenue in Harrisburg.

The guest speaker for the meeting will be Dr. Douglas Austen, Executive Director of the PFBC, who last spoke to the committee three years ago when he was first hired for this position. Dr. Austen will lead a discussion on current issues affecting the PFBC and take questions from the committee members on topics of their choice. He will also update the committee on the progress made over the last few years under his leadership.

Piccola maintains four citizen advisory committees in an effort to stay in touch with constituent concerns and share information with the residents of Dauphin and York Counties. The Agriculture, Business, Sportsmen’s, and Veterans’ Advisory Committees meet regularly throughout the 15th Senatorial District.
